How We Do It
The Help Patriotism Prevail Team partners with schools and youth education programs across the country. With the help of sponsors we provide free copies of Saving Dr. Warren... "A True Patriot" to give an affordable option for engaging, patriotic, and historical content. We also organize an annual patriotic essay contest centered around the novel and it's message.

By giving a donation of $290 you can fund a classroom set of books, and provide a patriotic experience for dozens, possibly hundreds, of young Americans.

Why
Saving Dr. Warren..."A True Patriot"?
The reason we chose Saving Dr. Warren... "A True Patriot" is because it is a middle grade novel that connects with the average middle school teaching curriculum in a myriad of different ways. However, more importantly it tells the tale of a 14-year-old boy named Steve, and his patriotic journey as he races through time trying to save one of America's most forgotten heroes. Steve experiences some of the most patriotic events in American history. These experiences come through exciting, time traveling trips to 1770's Boston, the painstakingly told stories of a WWII veteran, and the flag filled America immediately after the 9/11 attacks.

The novel allows middle school readers to join Steve as he grapples with what it means to be a true patriot. With each turn of the page, both Steve and the reader discover what it means to "more than selves their country love." Throughout the novel lessons are learned, hearts are touched, and lives are changed.
